me in twilight mood.....

seriously! dah lama gila aku tak sakbi kan blog aku ni. well, nothing much to talk about actually.. besides being a super lazy preggy mom, of coz. that's the main reason of this long silence actually.

well well well... lately, aku terjebak & terpengaruh dengan kakak aku, buttercup. dia mmg tgh menggila gila read and watch twilight and new moon. at first, aku terpikir.. amenda lah yg dia ni dok syok sgt melayan twilight ni? orang kata, cerita ni cerita utk teenagers. mcm mana lah arkitek tersohor pun boleh melayan kisah cinta kanak2 ribena?? ramalan, kutukan, sangkaan aku amat meleset sekali lepas aku sendiri tengok dvd twilight yg buttercup pinjamkan to me. mmg best lah jalan cerita & sceneries dia. the hero & heroin pun begitu mengancam sekali, terbayang2 mcm aku lah bella & zizi lah edwardku... (ni pembawakan budak ke apa ni?? funny & feeling so childish).


thanks to my personal version of vampire (zizi la tu..), rajin sungguh dia melayan aku tengok dvd twilight tu 3 times and tgk new moon at gsc dataran pahlawan last saturday. thanks to the kiddy vampires yang refused to follow us and chose to stay at my in-laws' place, dapatlah aku bertenet dgn zizi berdua-duaan tgk new moon! (^-^)


now i feel like reading the book! buttercup have been trying to get me to read the books bcoz dia kata baca buku lagi best and detail, but i'm not a reading kinda person actually. looking at the book.. it's as thick as yellow pages! it would take me years to finish reading it... gegegeegeeggggg.. but i'm so tempted!! arrrgghhh...

last friday was my b'day & i celebrated my b'day with a lot of surprises, joy & love from my good friends, my staffs, my siblings, my children & of coz.. my soulmate. thanx to everyone that remembers and celebrate that special day with me.

this is KASEH. the oh-so-lovely lady yang menjemput 'the melaka glam ladies' (bak katanya) dtg beraya at her house that friday morning & sekali arung Kaseh celebrate my b'day masa tu.. *thanks babe.. serious sedap babe, kau masak.. especially rendang ayam & sambal udang tu. sampai aku bertambah2 tau..*

sweet & lovely birthday cupcakes from Kaseh. begitu sweet sampai tak sanggup nak makan. but when i reach home, haziq dgn rakusnya menerkam tanpa belas kasihan!! the cupcakes taste as good as it looks!

lepas dah makan makan & makan sampai senak perutku, i went to office to chk if there's any urgent matters b4 i go to kl and... what a surprise, my staffs buat a bday celebration for me..

senyapku yang bersebab...

i've been quiet, i know... terima kasih banyak2 kepada compact digital camera lama ku yg buat hal. so, nak buat apa2 entry pun boring sbb tak dpt nak add pictures. my DSLR ada, tapi tak kuasa nak angkut ke hulu ke hilir. hari raya haritu pun tak ambik apa2 pictures sbb asyik lupa je nak bwk the DSLR. until finally.. i bought a new lumix dmc-tz7 for myself! yay, now i'm in the mood to update this lonely blog of mine.

tapi, actually there's nothing much going on pun lately. besides weight increasing and body expansion, there's nothing extraordinaryly interesting..
i spent most of my weekends relaxing at home with the family. i enjoy cooking lately, walaupun tak pandai mana pun memasak, i juz open recipe books and hentam keromo. and leave the cleaning and dishwashing part to the maid.

other than that, i'm in process of learning abt my new digital camera. 0f course the picture quality is not as good as my DSLR but it's handy.

life has been miserable!!

it's been so long since i last throw some words in my blog. a lot of things happened the past few weeks. good things, bad things, happy news, bad news... the colors of life.

we celebrated zizi's bday last month 30/7/2009. i gave him a surprise bday present, a racing car seat to pair his existing seat, he liked it so much. besides a surprise for him, i got a wonderful surprise for myself and the family too! we are having a new member in the clan soon!! (^_^)
what a wonderful surprise..
well, that explains all the laziness and my scrabbled-mood for the past few weeks.
now i have a good reason to get fat! woohoo...

that's the good part. now the bad part, the whole family have been sick. fever, flu, cough, sore throat! and the worst thing that happened was both my children, mukhriz & haziq had to be admitted at pantai hospital. mukhriz : confirmed Influenza A positive!! haziq : negative but advised to be treated. haziq's case went worse because his chest x-ray result showed that his lungs has fluids (due to bad asthma) & the doctor said that haziq needs extra attention and treatment to make sure that he won't get pneumonia! God knows how i felt that time.
i became brave like a warrior although inside i felt so scared,
i became strong although inside i felt so weak,
i became energetic although inside i felt so so tired.
i had to fight all negative feelings for the sake of my 2 boys.

thank Allah for giving me and zizi strength and not giving us unbearable sickness, so we could take care of our children at the hospital every second, every minute, everyday for 5 days. my children are now healthy and happy again & they are really happy to be back at home.

"syukur alhamdulillah, ujian yang Allah berikan dapat aku tempuh dengan kesabaran. aku redha segala apa yang berlaku & bersyukur semuanya berakhir dengan kebaikan..."

hmmm.... i've been so busy at work lately. there's a lot of tenders due for submissions. 19 down, 7 more to go! i'm blessed to have a great and helpful team that helps me to settle the workload.. hopefully all the energy and effort that we poured these past few weeks will lead to a happy ending.

in addition to the hectic tender datelines, my dad : the big boss at nordin group is having ideas to consider ISO certification for our group of companies. and... zizi and i had to listen to a draggy presentation made by this ISO Consultant Agency (thanks alot to my darling sisters : blossom and buttercup for escaping the presentation and dumping the extra unwanted and unneccesary schedule to me and zizi).. *hey u two!! u guys owe me iced caffe latte coffee jelly!! :-p*
after listening to the oh-so-time-consuming presentation, i can conclude that ISO is quite a good practice in business operations but very the susahkan kerja one.. and i can also conclude that ISO stands for: Itu Susahkan Orang!!

besides the ISO thingy, my dad issued a memo to the Head of Departments of nordin group that he's recruiting another receptionist and he picked 8 candidates from our HR KIV File to call for interview that was held today. first session was at 10am. second session was at 2pm. once again.. my dearest darlingest prettiest sisters : blossom and buttercup (again!!) escaped the recruitment interview and left the dirty work to me and zizi. *well well.. looks like u two girls owe me 2 rounds of iced caffe latte coffee jelly!!*

because of all the extra schedules slotted into our own schedule, zizi and i had to put our tender inking on hold from time to time and we had to work till late night for the past few days. finally, we managed to settle inking the 15 school maintenance tenders today and got it ready for submission tomorrow morning.. legaaaa... now there's a few more construction tenders to go and my big time QS is in process of preparing the costing.

but in the midst of the buzy life that's going on lately, i've been introduced by blossom to a blog that sells authentic handbags : catchthatcoach and i've been hooked to the blog since my first browse! they get authentic hbags straight from US and sells them at good bargain.. i made an order and it's now in process of shipping.. yippeeyayyy!! i can hardly wait..

happy birthday haziq!!

yesterday, 11th july 2009 was haziq's 4th bday.

i ordered 2 sets of bday cupcakes, 1 for him to celebrate at school with friends on friday 10/7, and the other 1 for the party at mak's house yesterday. we did a small bday bash for haziq at mak's house and it was fun & happening!! thx to all my loving family members for joining.. haziq got alot of wonderful bday presents from his cousins. car & bubble gun (from ateh's kids : ael, yaya & mimi), hot wheel track & car (from alang's kids : adlan, hakim, adlina & anas), bakugan (from uda's kids : alya, husna, muaz & hana), ben10 cap (from cikjerd's baby : adrian) !!

i can't believe that my lil bumblebee is now 4?! it feels like just yesterday that i gave birth to a chubby baby, and now he's 4! haziq, i want you to know that you are such a wonderful and special boy that Allah sent to me, papa & your abang, and i'm really thankful and happy to have you in my life! u complete our little happy family...

HAZIQ AZIZI!!!

kisahnya, si kemetot sorang ni wants mama to write about him. mana aci kan, mama citer pasal abang je.. 'where's my picture? where's my picture?'. when i showed him the previous pictures in my previous posts, he says.. 'no...! i want a lot lot picture...'

so this post is dedicated to my one and only baby haziq! he's not a baby anymore but i still call him 'mama's baby' coz he's so manja, cheeky & clingy..

haziq, masa dia betul2 baby..

ok, let's recap about HAZIQ............

al-kisah.. back in 2005, the date was 11th july, haziq was born at Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh melaka at 11.52pm. weighing 4.05kg, i safely delivered him the normal way after 12 painful hours in labour room. when my doctor put him on my tummy, i said to myself, 'oooh, kali ni anak aku mendung sikit kaler dia.. tapi takpe lah.. asalkan dia selamat & cukup sifat, syukur alhamdulillah...'

then, zizi pergi azan kan haziq.. and the nurses sent me to my room. memang tak boleh nak tidur la kan after giving birth.. same as the first labour, after delivering the baby, penat gila pun, mata tak nak tido. i think bcoz of the excitement that my belly is finally freeee, and the baby's safely born.. excited gila nak first feed the baby, wanna let him taste the healthy and fresh colostrum. tunggu punya tunggu punya tunggu.. baby tak sampai2... dalam pada tak dapat tido tu, sedar2, dah terang. (oh, terlelap jugak aku rupanya... kononnya langsung tak boleh tido!!). then came a chief misi with a bunch of nursing students, chief nurse tu dok ajar2 diorg entah apa2 agaknya, then i asked her abt my baby... 'oh, didn't the doctor tell you?'

WHAAAATTTTTT????!!! of coz lah aku terkejut beruk kan.. dah lah baru lepas beranak, emotionally unstable, in pain & hurt after getting a lot of stitches! rupa2nya haziq kena oxygenized sbb leher dia terbelit tali pusat... no wonder he looks 'mendung'.. rupanya blood capilaries dia burst sebab tercekik.. kesiannya anak aku...

but the tiny red blood spots all over his face and body slowly faded & by 3 weeks after he was born, his skin colour became fairer and fairer. so that's about haziq when he was born..

i used to send both haziq & mukhriz to my parents' house. my parents ada 2 maids, indah & milah. indah's in charged of cooking, laundry and housekeeping. milah, takes care of my grandma & housekeeping jugak sikit2. the kids selalunya milah yang jaga bcoz indah selalunya bz buat laundry.. so, my daily routine masa tu is, pagi: send the kids to parents - then: go to work - petang: pick them and go home. that routine started since mukhriz, sampailah ke haziq..

until one day... in February 2007, hari tu mcm hari2 biasa. the kids mmg suka pergi 'mak's house', as they call it. that evening when i came back from work to pick the kids, milah kata the kids ikut my parents pergi kedai kejap. then, i asked zizi to go back to office bcoz i forgot to bring back work that i wanna finish at home. so we went back to office to pick the document.
on our way back to mak's house, masa tu at klebang kechil area, which is about 5 minutes away from mak's house, i got a fone call from mak's house. it was milah, crying and said, 'Kak win, balik cepat. haziq kena iron!!!' dalam hati aku masa tu, 'ya allah, biarlah kena kat tangan ke, kaki ke.. jangan la kena kat muka..'

sampai je mak's house, i jumped out of the car & looked for haziq, and....

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IRON KENA MUKA!!!! :'(

tuhan aje yang tau perasaan aku masa tu. sedih, risau, takut, marah! tak tentu arah aku dibuatnya. haziq's right cheek, the whole cheek!!! the sadness and anger feeling that i felt back then is still fresh in my heart that made me teary everytime i think abt that incident. sampai sekarang, bila aku teringat aje incident tu, aku rasa menyesal sgt2 patah balik to office to get that darn document!!! kenapa haziq? kenapa bukan aku yang kena?

the dark memories of February 2007....

zizi banyak nasihat aku untuk bersabar & redha dgn apa yang berlaku, itu semua takdir & ketentuan Allah yang kita mesti terima. but both of us still try to find ways to repair his skin. we went for consultations & most of the surgeons don't advice for operation yet. he's too small to cope with post-op care & procedures. takpe lah... kita sapu je lah scar gel yg doctor bagi. sekarang, 2 years after that incident, the redness on his cheeks fades bit by bit..

lagipun, no matter how big the scar on his cheek, he's still the cutest boy on earth to me and he'll always be mama's baby!!

and i always tell him that he's extraordinary & special bcoz no one else in his school has that kind of cheek.. and that makes him a special boy...

so both zizi and i have decided to just leave the cheek alone for now, and let's hope & see if it's gonna get better and better.. until he's ready and grow big enough to go for further procedures...

to reduce the redness and skin overforming,

everynight for about 1 year+, i had to paste 'cica care' on his cheek.

syukur alhamdulillah, the redness fades and the overformed skin subsides

kisah malang dak haziq ni bukan berakhir setakat iron hinggap ke muka...

25/01/2009, masa tu kat rumah, dalam the kids' room. entah macammana, haziq jatuh from their double decker bed. bukannya dari katil atas pun, but from the 1st step of the stairs. dia jatuh & badan dia terhempap his left hand!! masa tu, dia nangis teruk sangat & he fell asleep after dipujuk2 & minum susu. masa dia tidur, i noticed that left elbow dia bengkak & looks kinda different. bila dia bangun, dia nangis teruk sgt & kata tangan dia tak boleh gerak.. punya lah aku cuak masa tu.. bergegas lah ke putra specialist hospital accident & emergency department.
berdebar-debar tunggu x-ray result, mintak2 sgt tak de kes patah riuk..
then came the nurse and once again...

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PATAH! shit happens, i have to admit but.. haziq? again??!! my poor little baby..

maka bersimen lah tangan si kemetot sorang ni for a month. (tapi aksi seram ganas dia masih berkekalan walaupun hanya dengan sebelah tangan yang berfungsi!!), biasa lah.. nama pun HAZIQ!!

hong kong disneyland, march 2009...

yaay!! haziq is turning to 4 this saturday (11/7/09), and we're gonna make a family gathering to celebrate his bday. a small party for my little baby at mak's house. i ordered colourful cupcakes for him from Babycakes. i told him about the cupcakes for his bday and he's so excited about it! hopefully the cupcakes are gonna be exactly like what i described them to haziq!

my motherhood experience started on 19th november 2002. the day when i delivered my first born child, mukhriz.

mukhriz made me learn & experience a lot of things, the things that i've never been thru before. he gave me the first pregnancy & labor experience. he thought me the meaning of patience & responsibility...

mukhriz is gentle. he's not the 'cry-till-he-gets' type of boy. he expresses his frustration by silent tears. between giving and taking, he will always be the giving person, especially with his brother, haziq. he's very tolerant in dealing with his demanding brother, that's why haziq loves mukhriz very dearly..

mukhriz is a private & quiet person. he only hangs around with the people that he knows, takes quite some time to make new friends, but once he gets familiar and comfortable with someone, he'll be very loud that you will be wondering: is this the mukhriz that i know??

he loves to draw and he can draw beautifully! i love his drawings. very talented! he will see his surroundings, capture what he sees in his mind and draw them.. i think his photographic memory is outrageous! he draws signages, car logos, cartoon characters, anything that he sees..

besides his wonderful talent, he's always driven to be the best in everything he does, including academically.

the latest new experience that i share with mukhriz is 'report card day'. last saturday, i had to go to his school to meet his teacher and to sign his report cards. this first report card experience was a wonderful experience.

he got A in all subjects!! (except for bahasa arab, which to me, it's not so important to score A anyway.. ). he scored 95% overall that made him the 3rd place out of 32 pupils in his class!!

that day, he made me a very proud and happy mother!!

she's mimi, one of my 12 nieces. mimi's my sister, buttercup's youngest daughter.

we celebrated mimi's birthday yesterday at mahkota parade's mcD. it was a small party but all mimi's cousins in melaka were there to celebrate her b'day. the kids had loads of fun eating, playing and laughing.. unfortunately, my other sister, blossom had to miss the party bcoz she was too exhausted after organizing st.david's carnival on saturday, but her kids made it to the party. after the party, buttercup brought us all to GSC to watch transformers!! tq for the wonderful treat, buttercup..

happy 4th birthday mimi...

ZZ, MLOC & Japan GT 2009

ZZ is a car crazed guy. inspired by japanese. anything about cars can attract his attention. he buys piles of mags about cars, some of them are japanese mags that he can't even read the contents, but by looking at the car pixies, it's good enough for him to study what kind of accessories and what type of mods done by the japanese.. he talks about cars (from engines to accessories) everyday, that made me understand what is piston, con-rod, turbo, racing cam, wastegate, and many many many more....

wondering what MLOC means? it's the short form of Mitsubishi Lancer Owners Club, the car club that ZZ joined since he bought his E9.

Japan GT is a yearly event @ sepang F1 circuit where japanese cars will test their engine setting power and performance thru racing. well, this year's Japan GT was held from 19-21/6/2009. but we normally go to the last day when the race is happening. but i didn't follow ZZ to see the event this year bcoz ZZ's car is stuck in the workshop and he got a ride from his friend. so i juz let him have fun doing boy stuffs on father's day..

he went for a pitwalk where he could see the racing cars rite before his eyes at a very short distance,

...and to get the unforgettable and to-die-for chance to hug that berketul-ketul thing called the michellin mascot. *haiyya... this fatso oso he wants to take picture ah?? take la pictures of keiichi tsuchiya ke, nobuteru taniguchi ke, konichiwa naruto ke.. but hey, look at the back there. japanese people oso like afro style meh? poor that japanese afro dude bcoz ZZ is only interested in the michellin mascot and not him, altough he flew all the way from japan!! hehehhehh.. :)

ZZ had a great & fun time with his friends that day!!

but no matter how much fun he had with his friends that day, he never forget about his family bcoz he came back that nite and brought home a sepang F1 t-shirt for each and everyone of us (me, mukhriz & haziq).
